Austin joined Settoon Capital in 2022 and has primarily focused on active and passively held operating companies, including executive management, financial support, and transaction diligence. Austin is a part of the acquisitions and strategic transactions team. In addition to his role at Settoon Capital, Austin also serves as a board member of Rigid Constructors, a Settoon Capital portfolio company. Before joining Settoon Capital, Austin spent several years in operations at Settoon Capital’s portfolio company, Settoon Towing. Thereafter, Austin performed multiple roles at commercial banking and management consulting firms in Louisiana before returning to Settoon. Austin is a graduate of Louisiana State University and holds a B.S. in finance and a B.S. in entrepreneurship. Austin is also a graduate of and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Miami. Austin follows in his father’s footsteps as a conservationist and wildlife manager and is an avid supporter of the Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries Foundation and Ducks Unlimited.
